Dr Kyi Kyi Mon

Dr Kyi Kyi (Chi Chi) Mon is a General Practitioner with a special interest in woman’s health and family planning.  She is certified for insertion and removal of the hormonal contraceptive implant. She is also passionate about children, especially those with a behavior disorder as this has a huge impact on the children and their families.

After graduating from medical school in Burma (Myanmar) in year 2000, Kyi Kyi moved to the UK where she gained further experience in General and Emergency Medicine before moving to Queensland. In addition to her Australian Specialist Qualification in General Practice, FRACGP, she holds Diploma in Child’s Health from the Westmead Hospital in Sydney.

Kyi Kyi has a broad experience in many aspects family medicine including geriatric care and chronic disease management, after having worked in difference demographic areas across Queensland. She is fluent in the Burmese language. In her spare-time she enjoys spending time with her two boys.
