The booking system has not yet been finalised – please do not call us to make a booking until this step has been updated. This step will be updated when we have more information. We anticipate to start vaccinating from the 8th of April 2021.
Some clinics will start vaccinating from 22 March 2021. Like most clinics, we will only be receiving a limited supply of vaccines per week. The Covid-testing respiratory clinics will receive the majority of the vaccines. You can find a list of all currently active vaccination clinics via the Health Direct website. Our clinic will not appear on that list until April 2021.
If you cannot demonstrate your eligibility when you arrive for your vaccination, you may be asked to leave. Aggression toward our staff will not be tolerated.
If you have had another vaccination recently, including for seasonal influenza, you should wait at least 14 days before having your Covid-19 vaccination.
We will be vaccinating in groups of 8 to 10 people. Please arrive on time, otherwise your group will be delayed.
You will be asked to wait for 15 to 30 minutes after the vaccine in case of a reaction.
You will be given a reminder card to book in 12 weeks time for your second Covid-19 vaccine dose.
The total time may be just over 1 hour. There is free 2P street parking in Chevron Island.
Your vaccination record will be uploaded to the Australian Immunisation Register within 24 hours. You can access your record online via My Health Record.
After Your Covid-19 Vaccination
You must report any adverse reaction. Please call the NPS Adverse Medicine Events line on 1300 134 237 to report the reaction.
You must not get any other vaccination for the next 2 weeks. For example, if you are planning on getting the flu shot, it must be at least 2 weeks apart from your Covid vaccination.
